The rapid developments of internet and information technology rapidly change the classical medical environment. Author reviewed ethical and legal issues associated with cyber hospital, hospital homepages, telemedicine, and discussed the possible
problems doing psychiatric consultation in cyberspace. Legal support of catch up the technologic development and persistent ethical consideration by physicians are needed also.
